About Aaron “Jaws” Homoki - Pro Skateboarder Profile, Biography and History

Aaron Homoki was born on February 2, 1990, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Growing up in the desert heat, he developed a passion for skateboarding that would propel him to fame. Aaron Homoki's dedication to skateboarding led him to become a renowned figure in the sport, showcasing his skills on a global stage.

Aaron discovered skateboarding early on, attracted to the excitement of wheeling and defying gravity. His passion for the activity drove him to seek out skate parks, streets, and diverse terrains.

Aaron earned the nickname “Jaws” due to his fearless approach to skateboarding.
Just like the iconic movie shark, he fearlessly tackles massive gaps, drops, and jumps that leave spectators in awe.

Jaws is famous for his ability to withstand enormous drops and clear massive gaps. He fearlessly launches himself off rooftops, bridges, and other death-defying structures. One of his most legendary feats was landing an ollie over the Lyon 25, a 25-stair set measuring 14 feet 9 inches high and 22 feet long.
This gap was first attempted (though never landed) by Swedish skateboarder Ali Boulala in Lyon, France.

Thrasher’s King of the Road: Jaws won this prestigious competition three times with Birdhouse, completing a three-peat in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

He appeared on the cover of Thrasher magazine’s March 2016 issue by conquering the Lyon 25 gap.
