Bill Weiss hails from Toronto, Canada, and by the time he was 14, he was ready to embark on an epic skateboarding adventure, leaving his hometown and heading to California.

Weiss made waves in the 90s by starting the video magazine called “Digital.” This groundbreaking project showcased skateboarding culture, tricks, and personalities, capturing the essence of the sport.

Bill Weiss’s name was to become synonymous with what would become Weiss's party trick - the “naked 540.”. He has performed it at least 20 times.

After a successful pro skating career, Weiss transitioned into a pivotal role within the skateboard industry, becoming the brand manager and team manager of Blind Skateboards. Under his guidance, Blind Skateboards clinched the coveted title of Thrasher’s King Of The Road, an achievement that resonated throughout the world of skateboarding.

Over the past 18 years, Weiss dedicated himself to rebuilding Blind Skateboards. His vision and leadership revitalized the brand, and not one to rest on his laurels, Weiss founded his own board company, Madness. With a fresh perspective and unwavering passion, he breathed life into this new venture but unfortunately, it wasn't to last.

After departing from his long-standing position at Dwindle Distribution, Weiss created a new brand that combines artistic expression, technical precision, and deep respect for skateboarding’s rich heritage - Opera Skateboards.

As for competitions, Blind’s victory in Thrasher’s King Of The Road stands out as a crowning achievement.
