Atlantic Drift isn’t just a skateboard company—it’s a movement, a visual language, and a love letter to street skating. Born from the creative mind of filmmaker Jacob Harris, Atlantic Drift began as a video series in 2017 under the wing of Thrasher Magazine. What started as a cinematic showcase of UK skateboarding talent quickly evolved into something more: a brand, a crew, and a cultural force.
Jacob Harris, known for his work on Eleventh Hour and Isle Skateboards, launched Atlantic Drift as a series of web edits that captured the raw beauty of street skating across global cities. The first episode dropped in London, followed by Paris, New York, and beyond. The series was praised for its poetic editing, atmospheric soundtracks, and a cast of skaters who blended technical prowess with effortless style.
In 2019, Atlantic Drift Ltd was officially incorporated in England, signaling a shift from video project to full-fledged brand. The company aimed to produce skateboards and apparel, with the iconic jellyfish motif becoming its visual signature.
Atlantic Drift’s roster reads like a who’s who of modern skateboarding:
Tom Knox – The London-based powerhouse known for his quick-footed lines and creative spot selection.
Casper Brooker – Stylish and unpredictable, Casper brought flair to every edit.
Chris Jones, Mike Arnold, Remy Taveira, Sylvain Tognelli, Kyron Davis, and Nick Jensen – All contributed to the Drift’s unique identity.
Max Palmer and Nikita – Later additions who helped expand the crew’s reach beyond Europe.
While Atlantic Drift didn’t operate like traditional board sponsors, it did support its riders through collaborative projects, travel, and exposure. The brand was more about community and creative freedom than rigid team structures.

Despite the hype, the Atlantic Drift skateboard company never fully materialized. Harris attempted to launch a line of decks, but a bout of long COVID derailed the project. With 200 boards sitting in his bedroom and mounting pressure, he ultimately pulled the plug. The brand’s potential was never realized in retail form, but its spirit lived on through the video series.
Atlantic Drift continues as a video series, with recent episodes taking the crew to Kazakhstan, Vienna, and Bangkok. The latest installment, Recurring Dream No.15, features Tom Knox skating from Palma to London, showcasing his signature tech-ledge mastery.
Though the board company may have fizzled, the Drift remains a creative force. It’s not about selling products—it’s about storytelling, friendship, and the joy of skating.
