Founded in 2018 by Daewon Song and Torey Pudwill, Thank You Skateboards is a skateboarding company.
On October 19th 2018, Pudwill announced his departure from Plan B Skateboards after 7 years via Instagram. One week later, on October 26th, Daewon Song announced his departure from Almost Skateboards, the company he co-founded with professional skateboarder Rodney Mullen in 2003. On November 16th, Thrasher Magazine published an interview with Pudwill and Song in which they announce their decision to start their own company, Thank You. The same day, Thank You released their first promo video.
Pudwill and Torey wanted to start skate company that would allow them to give back to the communities and individuals who had a hand in shaping their skateboarding careers, as they explained in an interview with Thrasher. Both the Skateboarding Hall of Fame and Museum in Los Angeles, California, and the reopening of the Channel Street Skatepark in San Pedro, California, will benefit from the sales of two boards that Pudwell and Song announced in November.
