411 Video Magazine, often abbreviated as 411VM, was a pioneering skateboarding video series founded in 1993 by Josh Friedberg and Steve Douglas. It revolutionized skate media by releasing quarterly issues packed with raw footage, pro and amateur profiles, road trip segments, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into skate culture. Before 411VM, skaters had to wait years between major video releases, but this format offered a steady stream of fresh content, helping launch careers and shape the aesthetic of skateboarding through the '90s and early 2000s.
