"Ever since I was a kid, I loved the idea of skateboarding on fire. Now there's a safe way to get that spark."

"Honored to be featured! Thank you Zack Dowdy, Matthew Reyes, and Eric Hutchinson for making this!" (TailDevil)

"In the mid 00's i called and begged every skate shop in my area for tail devils, weeks, months id call over and over . finally they stocked a handful ( like 5 ) cus i was incessant about it. They were a cool gimmick, but would snap easily where they screwed into the board. If you somehow managed to not snap the plastic the screw heads would grind down and it would pop off relatively quickly. ... not to mention the effected pop. I still look fondly on them however, had a lot of fun sparking through the night on Halloween. i'm tempted to get the board rails to goof around on, they seem like a way better concept."

"I remember when tail devils were kind of new, I was at an ASR show and was suggesting new applications, when I was told to shut up. "Don't give them ideas". This advice might not have been wrong, but wasn't right either. Rails weren't really a thing at that point. It's cool that someone was finally able to find a new way to apply the flint dots into a new product. Right place, right time, I guess."

"this is so cool! I had tail devils on my boards when I was growing up. totally forgot about the hockey pucks until you mentioned it!! hyped to hear about the epoxy r&d, I def recall some pads falling out on the tail devils I had way back lol"
